I hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving day today, close to your family and loved ones.
Although Thanksgiving is not a Mexican tradition, we embraced the celebration in our family as a way to be thankful for everything we have, besides, who wants to pass on a yummy turkey?
I am grateful for My Family, two beautiful children that fill my life with joy and laughter, I am grateful for my Husband who loves me, I am grateful for my home where I can sleep every night.
I am grateful for the Internet, which has let me become an artist and meet all the people I've met and the opportunities it has brought into my life.
I am very grateful for my job and my shop that keeps on growing every year, which lets me do what I like when I feel like it, for I was withering before I became an artist, and I am infinitely grateful for all the love you send when you say you like my work, for It fills my heart and the world my characters live in with joy and happiness. The feed on it and multiply it, and send it back to you on every new thing I create.
Thank you for letting me make the world a more beautiful place.
Happy Thanksgiving Day from the bottom of my heart!

I always say "this year I'm going to decorate my home for the Holidays starting November", for some reason or another (I get busy working on Holiday Decorations) I end up decorating at the end of the month. So If you, like me, haven't started yet, or if you already have but you think something is missing, I have the right thing for you!
I've just finished a few ornaments and I'm sure you'll find your favorite in here.
There are hand painted ones as well as printed and embellished.
I also added a few new Aceo size woodblocks to the shop. If you need that extra something to spice up your walls, you know where to find it! (Just click on the pictures and they'll take you right there).

Remember these little boxes?
Well, they're now finished, photographed and ready in the shop for you to pick up your favorite!
They're full of details, the image has been covered in a resin, each one was painted, stenciled, crackled and distressed.
And I'm also listing their perfect companion to go inside. I finally get my hands in a batch of this long oval rings and I made a bunch of them, most with your favorite Frida images that fit perfectly!
Oh and speaking of Frida, if you haven't signed up for my giveaway, you can still do so here!
Already picked your favorite little box? Go get it as I only made one of each. They're one of a kind and once they're gone, they're gone!

Hello everyone! I'm feeling so much better now (Thanks so much for the comments and the good wishes) and I'm getting back to work, slowly but with lots of ideas and projects in my mind.
I have another giveaway for you. This time it's one that I'm sure all Frida Kahlo fans out there will treasure. It's November's Vogue Supplement: Frida Kahlo, Las apariencias engañan (Looks are deceiving). A magazine supplement dedicated uniquely and exclusively to the exposition of Frida's dresses, accessories and little treasures that will be shown at La Casa Azul very soon. (I'm dying to go!!!). For the ones who can read Spanish it's packed with information, but also If you don't, all the pictures are worth the supplement.
This exposition and magazine just sparked an idea: I'm going to be making Frida's dresses painting series. I want to have by the end of the year at least 12 painting with some of the dresses that will be shown in this exposition. What do you think? I can't wait to start!
So, do you want a copy? Just leave a message here saying what you like more about Frida. The winner will be announced next Friday, and you can participate from any part of the world :)
