Spring is coming!

I'm so excited today that I went out and I see the trees already have lots of tiny little leaves. We don't get snow in this part of the world very often, but still the winters are very depressing sometimes, and I just love the sight of some green! I also like spring because I feel like doing new things and clean and renovate! And the warm weather takes away all those winter cravings and I feel like exercising and be outdoors.

My balloon is going to be removed this month. I'm kind of scared because I still have a lot of weight to lose. It didn't turn out to be as good as I expected it, but still lost a good amount of weight. Now without the help of the balloon it will be more difficult as I will be hungry again... but I'm determined to do it. I know it will be harder, but if I stop now all the effort will be lost and I will easily gain all the weight back. I need to lose at least other 25 pounds to be on a reasonable weight. A size 12 or 10 is something I will be happy to live with. I know what I have to do. I'm going to do it :)

oh what a bueatful day!
Had a GREAT DAY TODAY!, WAS FEELING GOOD,FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME. I GOT TO SAT OUTSIDE AND EVEN TAKE A SHORT WALK OVER TO MY GARDEN SPOT with the children. Y'all know how addicted I am to spring garden and the Autumn days,my favorite seasons. Then had to come in for a rest and right back out again,
The sky was blue and sunshine about, black and yellow bumble bees buzzed about and the birds sung in the trees, only thing growing is dandelions but there heaven to me, just so glad to be outside. A neighbor has offered to till up my garden so MAYBE after I recover from surgery I can still get in a late garden.
The weather here is nice so we can open my bedroom window and I still get a bit of outside.
Just waiting for the 17th to have the surgery then I will be up and at it again.
I had not felt good in so long I had almost forgotten what I was missing.
it was such a great day I did not have to take any pain meds untill9:30 tonight.
Bubba fryed some green tomatoes off the vine, our first of the season.they look so lonely by them selves with only daddlions to keep them company, but soon I hope to have peas, corn ,squash ,watermelloms, pumpkins, lettes, raddis ,butterbeans, snape beans, cucumbers, strawberrys and any thing else I can put in.anyone know where I can get some celery seed, I also got to see the full moon last night,it was dreamie , hope y'all are alll have as wounderful day as I did, love to you all

Danita, you can do anything. I see the beautiful art you make and I know anyone who can do work which clearly comes from such a good heart can achieve anything else you decide you want. Your extra weight is as good as gone, I think; you will do it.
The Spring is so beautiful, it´s my favorite time and my birthday is on April, so the Spring for me is like to born once again.
I hope you will have a very beautiful Spring and everything will be ok!!

Yay for spring! I am so ready too. Our trees are starting to blossom but it has turned so cold. Best of luck with your exercising plan. It will be much easier once its nice weather outside. I'm hoping I lose some winter weight too! Its hard to get motivated when you just want to curl up and stay warm!

You can do it =)
Every time you're hungry, try to do something else with your hands. Not smoking or anything bad =) Try to do the same thing every time you get hungry. Retrain your mind. And it's all about portion size.
One day at a time.
(i use to be a personal trainer =) )

I hope the best for you.

Spring is in the air here too - little green buds appearing on the lilac bushes, and snowdrops coming up everywhere....

I can sooooo sympathize with the weight battle. Just joined WW online myself...It's a constant challenge, especially working at home.....Best of luck. :)

Dear Danita,
Keep up your weight loss efforts, you can do it!! I am also trying to loose weight by the end of the month. I have been trying to exercise every morning before I eat. I don't allow myself to eat breakfast until the exercise is done. I figure I'll get hungry and have to finish the exercise routine.

I love your paintings.
Best Wishes,
Lynnette

Thank you for the encouragement! I'm trying, really. But the ones who struggle with their weight know how hard it is!... but I'm taking it like the ones at AA... one day at a time!

Art is very healing for the soul. Danita your art such an inspiration to me and many of your artist and collectors. I know battling weight is challenging but remember it is a spiritual process. Your feelings are expressed in your paintings and that is why they are so meaningful because they come directly from your heart. I got my two prints today and I just LOVE the spiritual energy that radiants from them. Thanks for "being" Danita!
Blessings, Alice

You can do it...it is one of the hardest things to do, but so worthwhile in the end. I needed surgery to give me that new start and though it was extremley difficult, now almost 2 years later i can say it was the best thing i ever did!!! Good luck, be safe and be well.
