Painting frenzy

It's been a while since the last day I painted like today. 4 paintings in one day... one of them bigger than my usual (11x14) and I feel awesome! For one reason or another I stop painting for several days and I just needed some artistic time. Now I have several pieces ready and many others pending in my sketchbook and many good ideas. That's the hardest part... there are days when I can't draw a single line without ruining the canvas... others when I don't have any ideas... but there are days, my good friends, days like today in which I not only paint but fill pages and pages with sketches that will become paintings or dolls one day! Those days are worth the starvation and the lack of sleep... those days are very rare!

I also had the chance to finish some oil paintings that I had laying around the studio. I love painting with oils but I don't have the patience to make it often, that's why I use acrylics most of the time. But here they are, I hope you like them. I made them before the heat wave hit us... you can see the difference between them and the new ones that reflect more the weather ;)

UPDATE: They're now available at my Etsy Shop :)
