Many pics

I used to take a daily picture of my baby since she was born. Those days are gone. When she would stay still looking at the camera, smiling. Now this is the luckiest I get:

Or this, because she will try to grab the camera and I won't let her:

If she's around, I can't use the computer because she will get the mouse, run away with it or just climb on my lap and turn off the monitor. I can't watch TV because she will turn it on and off as many times as she can... she had a thing with buttons I just don't understand. Anyway, those were shot trying to take a pic of my dresser. It's now finished!!!! Finally!!!!! Just a tiny detail, none of the doors close.... should have checked that before ... anyway if you know about a place where I can purchase old hardware please let me know...

What do you think? I love how it looks. With the chipped painting and the pink color...

In other news, I finished another doll that I think will sell on Ebay, not sure though. Ebay hasn't been good for me lately... sight.... anyway, she's Miss Summer and has very lovely and bright colors without loosing her primitive style. A little bit smaller than the previous one, about 20 inches. She has needle felted hair, her face was hand painted with watercolors and her clothing is a combination of painting and fabric. Wish me luck.

Danita,I just recently found your blog and it has become one of my daily readings. I really love your artwork! This post made me laugh too, because my daughter is at the same stage, grabbing the mouse, turning off the tv, pushing buttons on everything, etc. And I too used to take pics evry day of her, but now she is in contant motion and it makes it difficult :)
Your new doll is lovely and so is the dresser! Thanks for sharing.

My oldest two boys are only 13 months apart and I remember all too well those days of, not two, but four little hands getting in to everything!
Still, you seem to accomplish so much! The dresser and doll both turned out lovely!

Thank God for digital cameras... at least we could still get one good picture... imagine if we need to use those 110 mm cameras!!! I think I would not have a single good picture of her yet.... but babies are adorable, and that's what makes them so special, their curiosity and determination ;) you know what I mean.
