Here I am again!

Hi again! I'm back! The recovery from the removal of the balloon was hard... (for the ones who have no idea what I'm talking about but like to know more, click here) I always have trouble metabolizing the anesthesia but I'm ok now and I have very good news! I don't have all the numbers, but so far I've lost 33 pounds!!!!!!!! (insert trumpets here!) I'm so excited! And so far no hunger... I thought that I would feel ravenous without the balloon but I've been eating the same things and the same quantities than before and I feel good with them. I've realized I used to eat too much, and now I have better control of it. I still need to lose other 30 but I'm motivated and with the warm weather I feel that is easier to do it. That's it from my weight loss journey from now, but I'll keep you updated! I'm preparing stuff for a shop update and I'll give you all the info later during the week... Have a wonderful day! Danita

Technical KO.....

Danita went today to get her intragastric balloon removed today. The procedure went well and now she's resting, still knocked out by the anesthesia.... She should be back to herself later today in the afternoon =)

I'm back !!!!

I've got internet connection again!!! YUPI, BRAVO, AJUAAAAA!!!! Being offline is worse than I thought. One thing is consciously deciding to take a time off and do other stuff knowing that I can go back to the internet anytime I want... other very different is to not have access to internet at all! I'm surprised how addicted I am to this thing.... the news, the weather, the friends, the business... everything is here...

As far as I know it was not a drunk who crashed on the telephone pole, but some morons who stole several MILES of cable... our entire zip code was left with no phone service... and now that is restored I have another's person's phone line... Viva Mexico!... I don't care about the phone, but I've got half the bandwith that I'm paying for!!!!!! Anyway, half badwith is better than nothing at all.

And I thank you Mr. Danita for letting you know the bad news, but no, I wasn't lurking in allies or dumpsters, altought I thought about it... (next time maybe, now that you gave me the idea)...

Suffering from Withdrawal Syndrome....

Hello everyone, Mr Danita here. I Hope you are having a great St. Patrick's Day!

I just dropped by from work to let you know that the fabric brooches/pins are now available at Danita's Etsy store. Grab them while they are available.

Some dumb driver hit a telephone pole or something really early on Monday morning and left the entire block without phone service, so we've been without internet for the whole week... That's why Danita's been so quiet. I'm wondering what's she's up to without a computer. I better go straight home before she starts lurking around behind coffee shops dumpsters trying to get free internet from them.... If you see her around your block, don't get scared she's not dangerous... hahaha. Hopefully our service will be restored soon!

I couldn't make up my mind...

I couldn't decide if I should make them brooches or necklaces... so I made them both. I added a pretty ribbon and you'll decide how to wear them :) They will be available soon.



What is available now are some more necklaces in my Etsy store. I was out of them and with insomnia (again) so I decided to make something productive instead of being in bed counting sheep.

Spring is coming!

I'm so excited today that I went out and I see the trees already have lots of tiny little leaves. We don't get snow in this part of the world very often, but still the winters are very depressing sometimes, and I just love the sight of some green! I also like spring because I feel like doing new things and clean and renovate! And the warm weather takes away all those winter cravings and I feel like exercising and be outdoors.

My balloon is going to be removed this month. I'm kind of scared because I still have a lot of weight to lose. It didn't turn out to be as good as I expected it, but still lost a good amount of weight. Now without the help of the balloon it will be more difficult as I will be hungry again... but I'm determined to do it. I know it will be harder, but if I stop now all the effort will be lost and I will easily gain all the weight back. I need to lose at least other 25 pounds to be on a reasonable weight. A size 12 or 10 is something I will be happy to live with. I know what I have to do. I'm going to do it :)
