A very busy weekend!

This weekend was very busy and fun! The Friday started to a visit to our local Cinema to watch "The Lorax".  Then on Saturday, my friend Lillian invited us to her daughter's birthday party, everything was so beautiful! The theme was "Alice in Wonderland" and there were lots of beautiful Alice-related things everywhere. You even get to make your own hat at a craft station she placed under a huge tree.

Then on Sunday we went to Las Cruces, NM to visit our favorite bookstore, Coas.  I was in luck! I found a 1884 book with poems and flowers, so beautiful! It even has a golden foil... precious.

I also found this Victorian photo album... I'm thinking about using them to make some watercolor portraits, what do you think?

The bookstore is old and you swear there must be ghosts there... my little one was acting like crazy running around the halls like he was chased by one... turns out he was very hungry.  A quick trip to a pizzeria and we were done for the day.

Well, they were done for the day, but not me, who came home to cook chocolate waffles and then started working on some new paintings and dolls.
Meanwhile the new fairies are ready for adoption, I can't decide which one is my favorite!

Well, off to work again, this time in our Easter eggs...
so far, from a dozen we had, we only have 10 left...
wish us luck!
