So Danita tell us.. where have you been?
On vacation I wish I could say. "I was at the Caribbean in a vacation, that's why I don't update my blog". But I wasn't. I know, I know. I don't update my blog as frequently as I'd like... or as you'd like. But I have a good reason, really. You'll see, I spend a LOT of time in front of the computer. Answering emails, uploading work, reading other blogs... And every single time I sit here I think that I have to post. I have to keep my blog alive. But then something else happens... or nothing happens and I'm just in blank. I can't find anything to blog about. Not a single interesting word or picture to share. Some days I just think that nobody cares about what I have to say or what I've been doing and I don't update it. Then when I'm in my bed trying to sleep I think about ten thousand things that I want to share with you and many pictures I'd like you to see and I fell asleep. The next morning I'm blank again! And my blog keeps static. Until inspiration comes again.
So I'm very surprised that many of you had sent me awards for my blog! Thanks a lot for thinking of me when choosing your favorites! I'll have to work on those awards too, as they ask you to name a few of your favorites... I think I'll have material for another post with that ;P
And if you're wondering what I'm up with lately... I'm learning to crochet and I'm learning Photoshop. Playing with my wacom table and making experiments with shrink plastic and laminated dolls...
Here are my baby steps at this photoshop thing. They were drawn directly in the computer but I think I'll need to draw them first on paper and then scan it. I also need more work with layers. Don't be to harsh on me... I'm just learning! As my husband said: for someone who is the first time that works with photoshop they're pretty good :P

As for Photoshop, I want to try that, but I am scared to try. So you are not only brave to keep trying so many new things, but you are already doing great work with the photoshop.

Yours, however, I have been checking daily, almost. Your work is so wonderful and I just love your style. Glad to see you post and my golly, if that's a beginner's approach to Photoshop, watch out world! You'll be whipping around that program in no time! Those are fantabulous!
Please, please, pretty please do not think that nobody reads your blog! I check it at least every other day to see what new pieces of artwork on eBay or Etsy. I know it is hard to post everyday when you have so many other things brewing in your creative mind. By the way the photoshop pieces that you have posted are really nice... and I am NOT just saying that. You are such an inspiration to me, Danita. I love that you persevere and are determined to continue to evolve as an artist - and a self taught artist at that!
Who says you have to blog everyday? When you have things to write about, you will. :)
