I love the Red Violin for music and for drama, but there are so many great movies it is hard to make a choice. (We are movie buffs here.) Love the films of the Golden Age of Hollywood. I am with the others on all the films mentioned so far.

I just started reading your blog--which is delightful--and wish you lots and lots of good wishes with your weight loss.

dear Danita, it's such a great tradition you have with this giveaway! every time you announce your giveaway, I have a breathtaking feeling like in my childhood.. but I'm always shy to try a luck.. but let it be... unfortunately,
I don't remember the name of the movie, it's a japanese story about people, who die and come to some place looking like hospital or library but it's a purgatory.. and they have about a week to remember their entire lives and choose only one moment - and in this moment they will exist after death in eternity. somebody choose his fisrt kiss, someone - first steps of his baby, and so on. but few people can not decide what to choose, and they live there in this purgatory and help others untill they finally make a decision.
I don't know why, but this story touch me more and more I think about it.
thank you for your kindness.

There are so many films I love, but one of my favourites is 80's film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I watched it a million times with my best friend in school, we used to quote lines to each other, and I named my cat after it. Sadly, I had to leave Ferris with my ex when I moved to the UK....
